Willamette University is hosting a webinar “The Road to Solving Climate Change by 2030: Solutions and Just Transition” on April 7, created by the climate advocacy group Solve Climate By 2030 run by Bard College in New York state. The webinar will be moderated by Willamette student Liandra Chapman (’21) and will feature three panelists discussing actions that will solve climate change by 2030. The three panelists are: Aaron Brown a co-founder of No More Freeways, Victoria Paykar an Oregon Transportation Policy Manager of Climate Solutions and Jaimes Valdez from the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability.

The webinar is one of 100 webinars taking place in early April focused on solving climate change being hosted by universities in all 50 U.S. states and in 50 countries. Willamette is hosting the Oregon webinar.
