A contractor working on-campus became Willamette’s second COVID-19 case of the semester on April 1. According to an email notification sent out by the University, the “the individual was not in close contact with anyone (as defined by the CDC) and is in self-isolation at home.” The individual was last on campus in Goudy Commons on March 25. Additional details about the individual have been withheld due to Higher Education Coordinating Commission and Oregon Health Authority privacy laws.
Faculty and staff who test positive are still being asked to contact Danita Chapin <dkchapin> in Human Resources, and students who tested positive are to contact Tori Ruiz <truiz> in Student Affairs.
