The Willamette University [COVID-19 Dashboard] reported six new cases for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, 2022. The Salem campus reported five cases, three students and two employees. The Portland campus had one student case. The total case count on the Salem campus since Aug. 1, 2021, is 140, and 12 on the Portland campus.
On Feb. 4, the COVID Advisory Team sent out an email updating students on campus case counts, vaccine booster rates on campus, and best practices for reusing KN95 and N95 masks. Recent [CDC guidelines] have highly recommended the use of these masks over cloth ones.
