Medical Assistance
October 14, 6:22 p.m. (Sparks Center): A student called requesting an escort from the field to Salem Hospital. An officer responded and transported them.
Suspicious Activity/Persons
October 8, 12:56 p.m. (University Center): Officers received a call about an individual inside building who was not wearing a mask . An officer responded to the call but was unable to locate the individual.
October 8, 2:55 p.m. (University Center): Officers received a call about an individual handing out religious pamphlets and not wearing a mask. An officer responded but was unable to find the individual on campus.
October 8, 3:41 p.m. (Smith Fine Arts): Officers received a call about a group of skateboards on campus and escorted the them off campus
October 9, 11:00 a.m. (Hatfield Fountain): Officers received a call about an unmasked person following a student, but did not locate the individual. The officer escorted the reporting student to their vehicle.
October 10, 8:58 p.m. (Lee House): Received call about two individuals in a white pickup truck asking for directions and not leaving campus. An officer responded and the vehicle left campus.
October 11, 10:45 p.m. (Doney Hall): Received call about someone yelling outside the building. An officer responded, located the individual and escorted them off-campus.
October 11, 9:00 p.m. (Botanical Gardens): Officer encountered an individual in some bushes in the garden. The individual was escorted off-campus
October 12, 8:21 a.m. (Sparks Parking Lot): Received a call that there was an individual lying down on the ground, under a blanket, next to a vehicle. Officers responded and located two individuals under a blanket. They were told to leave campus and they complied.
October 13, 8:15 a.m. (Waller Hall): Received a call about an individual on the 5th floor of the building asking to use the bathroom. When asked by the employee if they were a student, they would not answer. Officers responded and searched the building, but could not locate the individual in or near the building.
October 13, 12:15 a.m. (Smith Fine Arts): Officers on patrol located an unknown individual near the building. They were asked to leave and they complied
October 13, 7:34 a.m. (Atkinson GSM): Officers received a call that an individual was going through the dumpster behind the building. An officer responded and the individual left
October 13, 8:32 a.m. (Southwood Hall): An individual was seen going through a dumpster and was contacted. It was the same individual that was found digging the dumpster at Atkinson an hour earlier. They were asked to leave and they complied.
October 13, 2:19 p.m. (Atkinson GSM): An unknown individual was found behind the building. An officer asked them to leave campus and they complied.
Theft, Attempted
October 9, 3:13 a.m. (University Center): An officer on patrol observed two on bikes with backpacks trying to remove a lock on a bike on the southeast corner of the building. The individuals headed north once they saw the approaching officer and left campus.
