Hello Bearcat Fan! The sports results from this week are a lot like a habitually unemployed but loveable boyfriend of six years who just proposed to you: they’ll give you mixed feelings. Let’s go to the news!
Lacrosse tallied a +34 goal differential over last week's games against Cal Lu and Pacific (yes, we double checked). The squad will take on Linfield and the Whits this week. Fear the Bearcat, North West Conference…
The Triathlon team raced at the Beaver Freezer in Corvallis on Saturday. Results are still making their way in.
It is with a heavy heart that the Collegian must apologize for jinxing the Basecats in the last sports report. The guys lost their series against #3 Lewis and Clark 1-2, but will hold their spot at 2nd in the conference.
Softball has now lost 12 straight. They will continue the forward march through four games against Lewis and Clark this weekend.
Track and Field took second at the John Knight Twilight meet. Zoe Heino (‘23) and Will Hennum (‘24) won the steeplechase, Kat Thornton (‘24) won the 100m hurdles, and Sammi Riggs (‘23) won the 100m dash. The NWC championship is next on the chopping block.
Women’s Tennis will head to Spokane to take on Whitworth, and both the Men’s and Women’s teams will face George Fox in Newberg this weekend.
Consider in the coming weeks: can you fish in the neighborhood canals?
